Operators saw cash box earnings spike 110% for many Apple Industries Face Place Photo Booths last Valentine’s Day weekend …and now that the 2016 Holiday season is here, Apple is giving Face Place operators the tools they need for an “earnings encore” with an attractive Holiday Themed Borders package for its digital imaging products.
Apple uploaded the brand-new graphics package – free to operators — to all Smile 2.0 Networked Face Place Photo Booths in early December. Content updates are provided all year long on a complementary basis, with no hassle for the operator, via the company’s revolutionary Smile 2.0 Network. Apple’s continual updates help to keep the photo booth experience fresh for consumers while keeping cash box and credit card revenues strong for operators.
The holidays are an especially popular time for amusement patrons to visit their local Face Place Photo Booths. Many consumers like to use Face Place to create instant, easy, memorable and personalized holiday photo cards and greetings that they can publish on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter as well as email, and text to their friends and family.
Face Place Photo Booths also make it easy to purchase multiple prints, enabling customers to snail-mail traditional photo cards as well (all Face Place photo vends are printed on the industry’s highest quality photo paper). Some operators can even encourage their more-creative customers to turn their holiday-themed photo strips into Christmas tree ornaments or other festive decorations, too.
Apple is right in step with the gift-giving season thanks to its Product Fulfillment Program, which generates even more revenues for operators. Customers can have their Face Place photos emblazoned on their choice of merchandise from iPhone cases to tote bags, frames, mugs and more. Customers select their photo-personalized items using the touchscreen in the Face Place Photo Booth; products are then physically created and rapidly shipped to the customer. Photo-display products make excellent gift ideas for mom and dad, grandparents or friends. It’s a quick gift idea that packs a lot of meaning.
The possibilities for holiday upsells are endless. From product fulfillment to customizable photo packages and reprints, each option drives additional upsell charges. Apple reports that upsell revenues typically account for 25% to 35% of the total cash box income year-round. During the holiday season, that percentage frequently rises, as do overall earnings.
“Young people, moms and dads, and even entire families love creating holiday memories with Face Place,” said Apple CEO Allen Weisberg. “Gathering in the Face Place booth together with loved ones becomes a warm shared experience. Thanks to photos generated on the spot, that experience is commemorated with a beautiful permanent memento.”
“Operators will appreciate the extra ‘holiday spirit’ they find in the cash box with our new graphics package,” Weisberg continued. “We encourage all operators to promote our Holiday-Themed art and borders to locations and customers as an opportunity for families, friends and loved ones to get together and capture the spirit of the season!”
